If you had to get a tattoo right now, what would it be and why?

Well I actually got a tattoo recently at Bloodstock Festival, of a little ghost holding a guitar. Cool as hell right! My plans are to get a new tattoo every time I do press at a major rock or metal festival for the first time.

I feel like this will really help remind me of how far this website as come and the achievements that come along with it.

I really do want to know though, do you plan on getting any tattoos? Have you already got any? And why do you think tattoos play such a prominent role in rock and metal culture?

    I think that’s a cool way to memorialize the experience of each festival.

    I don’t have any tats at the moment, but I’ve considered getting one. Just haven’t decided on what I want it to be. Permanent ink requires some serious thought. 🙂

      I thought so too, it’d just be the first time (or next time) we get press at big events though I love tattoos but I don’t want to be completely covered haha

      Absolutely these things should be considered , but at the same time life is short and to be enjoyed so maybe have an idea and get an artist to come up with several versions

    Not a fan of tattoo but yeah why not…. once in a life…. I guess a Buddha would be nice…

    A ghost holding a guitar from Bloodstock is a great first entry, and the rule you’ve set – one per new festival you cover – turns the whole thing into a running record rather than a random collection. That’s basically a passport stamp system for your career. No tattoos here, but we do collect a fridge magnet from every trip, which is much the same instinct with less commitment.

      Haha I also collect magnets, you should see mine its absolutely covered! Do you think you would ever consider getting a tattoo? Also what is your favourite magnet from one of your trips?

    I’ve asked this question several times. I’m torn between a wolf howling at the moon- on my lower leg or maybe upper arm and a colorful feather running down from my wrist to the tip of my thumb with a rustic rope around the wrist. Too, late now. My skin is too dry, and I don’t have the patience to “butter” it up everyday. 🙂

        Oh, my dear. I’ve heard that tattoo on wrist and thumbs hurt. While I have a high tolerance for pain, I’m not sure having a needle (I hate needles) stuck into me over and over is a great way to spend my money. Thanks, you made my day.

          For the record what I would describe it as is like someone is drawing with a quill on your skin. It’s scratches for sure but goes numb quickly

    I have a lifelong fear of needles, so no tattoo for me. I’ve seen some good ones on others though. 🙂

      It’s odd but I have the same fear. However the needle is honestly so small you don’t even see it!

      Haha maybe I will post a picture eventually 🙂 Keeping it underwraps while it heals 🙂 It was one of the flash designs but fits in my my daughters sense of humour and my love of rock.
