What are your favorite side-hustle ideas?

For me this is simple… You are reading it! That’s right I do not review rock and metal music full time. I am actually a software tester by trade.

By night obviously I’m a kickass rock music reviewer but this is certainly my side-hustle. I don’t make much from this at all truth be told, probably $30 a month. But I do genuinely love doing it, and the people that I interact with on a daily basis! So if you want to support us here at foxreviewsrock.com please read a couple of our reviews, share some posts. I want to know though what is your side-hustle, or ideas you’ve been thinking about putting into action?

Not so much a side hustle (as I don’t really make money from it), but I write fiction and paint. I’ve sold a few books and a few paintings, which motivates me to keep at it. Maybe one day it’ll be an income source.

Software tester by day, rock reviewer by night — that’s a good pairing, and the honesty about $30 a month is refreshing. The people you meet really are the return on it. Ours is writing about family trips, which started as a way to remember them and turned into a whole community of people we now look forward to hearing from.

I like to be progressive and creative. Even though I get no income from my blogs, I still enjoy posting and love it when people enjoy what I write. I make a bit of money by writing on Vocal Media. To make it more profitable at I post my Vocal Media links on my blog according to one of my four themed blogs – travel, animals, music and poetry so that per read I can get closer to cashing out on that site. Also, I add to my pot a bit by taking surveys, and I love it when I earn gift cards and can get stuff I need from Amazon. And I have self-publishe two books of poems that are on Amazon.

    If you mean about Vocal Media you have to be ready to write about any kind of topic or even your own poems or stories. To join writing challenmges for possible bigger wins you need to have Vocal Media paid membership and each article should be around 600 words or more. You get money per reads so posting on there and then sharing my links from there on my WordPress blog nets me additional money per read and once I reach $20 each time I can cash out, It takes a while but writing is my game.

Software tester by day, rock reviewer by night is such a cool pairing! The transparency about making $30 a month while doing it purely for the love of music and the blog community is so refreshing. Rock on!
